Finally, I'm graduating. It's like nothing I ever suspected it would be, I feel like I've gotten nothing from it other than a little smarter. I wish I could explain how I feel to others, but that is nearly pointless.

You've learned enough to better yourself as a witch. Otherwise, what's the point in carrying a wand around - you would be just as bad as the mudbloods they let have them. Half the spells you now know now, you wouldn't have known unless you went to that school. Though, the curriculum is a bit biased in terms of what they teach you, but you can learn more once you're finally out.

Given your family, you hardly need to worry about finding a position in the Ministry or anywhere of the sort so the marks you make won't matter much. You have your name to fall back on and that's what is important.

Hogwarts teaches the kinds of skills you need for research, and the kind of responsibility you need to carry on with a job if you're hoping to have one after graduation. Whatever you do with those things is up to you.

I'm surprised nobody's pressuring you to find a nice pureblood husband. My mum hasn't stopped talking about that since I graduated.

I'm sorry to hear that your father doesn't speak to you. But it's not necessarily a bad thing if your brother isn't trying to arrange a match for you. It means that you have a chance to get a respectable job if you're so inclined.

Congratulations. I felt nearly the same way. School did very little for me. My most important training happened before and after, perhaps a little during breaks. I just wanted out.

It's not that it didn't little for me, I was always adamant about my education. I wanted to know what I could learn before everyone else, I always read Amycus' text books during summer break.

Hogwarts really barely taught me anything useful. Most of what I use now, I learned elsewhere. My father saw to it that I was well trained, and after his death, I made it my mission to continue his type of instruction.
